Tram plans for Antalya 29 August 2009

I see they’ve opened Antray (you can get a surprisingly long way with Turkish by spotting French loanwords), the first modern tramline in Antalya, connecting the dusty NW suburbs at Fatih to the centre and out east to Meydan (the red dots on the map). The new line almost kisses the nostajik (ditto) tramvay which runs ex-Nürnberg Düwags round the old town and out west to the archaeology museum.
